Goals | Rules Goals 1. Write poetry and express ourselves in a positive manner. 2. Learn more about other writers, poets, lyricists and musicians (Jazz, Hip Hop and other genres). 3. The workshop will include time for students/instructor to comment on writing and discuss effective ways towards improving vocabulary, grammar, comprehension and critical/creative thinking. Rules 1. Respect each other's work, words, reading and discussion. 2. No profanity or explicit promotion of drugs, gang activity or disrespect towards males/females. 3. No plagiarism. No student is to copy someone else's work and take credit. Each student is to write their own words, thoughts, ideas and/or experiences. |
